About

The Committee for Better Banks is bringing bankers and bank workers together to begin a conversation about how we can make banks work better for our communities and for those of us who work in the banking industry.

Those of us who work in the banking industry work hard everyday to make our communities stronger. We help young families buy their first home. We help them make their dream of sending their kids to college. We help local businesses expand, grow and thrive.

In short, we help our neighbors realize the American Dream. But, we also know that we can always do better.

We know that bankers and bank workers haven’t gotten the credit they deserve over the last few years and we want to show through our actions that our banks are an asset to our local communities.

And that’s what this effort is all about. We’re bringing bankers and bank workers together to begin a conversation about how we can make our banks – and our neighborhoods – BETTER.

And we want to hear from you! Whether you work as a teller or a loan officer or a branch manager, we’ve all got something to contribute to this movement to make banking better for everyone.

We hope you will join this important conversation today! You can start by taking this brief survey, by following us on Facebook and twitter and by helping us spread the word with friends and coworkers.

We CAN make our banks BETTER. Together we can continue to help our communities realize the American Dream for years to come.
